Graphical indicator for resources

I would like to set up a graphical indicator for any task that has an
overallocated resource. is that possible?

I think that is a more complex request that cannot be done with simple
formulas in custom fields. I think it could be done by writing a VBA macro
that calculates this for you on a task by task resource assignemnt by
resource assignment and then populates a value in a task custom field for
you. Then the graphical indicators could be set to populate based on a
tolerance of values you would define in the custom task field.

you can view overallocated resource in the resource usage view, which will
show you the over allocated resource in red
