We are using PPT2007 to create content for a digital signage network, which
operates using Linux and 97 PPT Viewer. When we create PPT slides which
contain clipart graphics, the slide looks normal during the creation, but
when it is played back using the 97 Viewer, the graphics will have small
rectangular blocks associate with them. We have found that we can use PPT2000
to open the PPT file created in PPT2007, select the graphic image, go to
Format Picture, select the Web tab, and delete any Alternative Txt associated
with the picture; using this procedure, we can eliminate the appearance of
the white rectangles when the file is played in the digital signage device.
We have not been able to locate where we can find the Alternative Txt from
within PPT2007 so that we can eliminate it more quickly and easily. Does
anyone know PPT2007 to provide direction on this matter?
