Graphics File Filter for HPGL

I have (been) updated to Office 2007 and now find that the filter previously
used to view/import hpgl/hgl files no longer works in Word.

File name is: Hpglim32.flt (version 1.9.11.4) and location is C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Grphflt. It was found a long time ago on
a Microsoft KB page and has worked perfectly for previous versions of
Office - all using 32 bit versions of Word.
I have rerun an associated registry entry file but that did not make any
difference.

Does 2007 store the filters in another place?
Anyone know a 2007 compatible alternative or is there an updated version?
