Graphics Filter Converting Metafile

I created a spreadsheet in Excel 2003. When I copy the file to my Mac and
open it with Excel 2004 I get a Graphics Filter dialog box that says it is
converting: Metafile. The result of this is that every embedded object ie
list and combo box controls are converted to graphics. The name and the fact
that it is an embedded control carry over. The functionality does not. Any
clue as to how to stop this from occuring in the future without having to
recreate every control in the application?

Thanks

I suspect you're going to have to convert the controls in any case,
because you've used controls from the Controls Toolbox. These are
ActiveX controls that only work in the Windows environment.

If you use Forms Toolbar controls instead, they will happily work
cross-platform. They're not as customizable, of course.
