graphics in autoshape

At a workshop someone demonstrated a way to insert a graphic into autoshape
but I lost the directions and there doesn't seem to be instructions for this
in help. This was part of an exercise where we made place-tags that included
our picture. If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate your help.

1. Insert the AutoShape.

2. On the Drawing toolbar, click the arrow beside the Fill button (paint
can) and choose Fill Effects.

3. In the Fill Effects dialog, select the Picture tab and Select Picture...,
then browse to find the desired graphic.
