I am writing a complex history (around 400 A4 pages) and
am adding a lot of scanned images, (inserted from file)
which are JPEG. Each chapter is saved as a separate
file. Saving the chapters is fine. But, when I either
burn a chapter to a CD or send to a thumb drive the
images convert to large red crosses in both the backups
and the files saved in Word. BUT sometimes that doesn't
happen and some photographs are still there, but others
aren't...
When the history is finished, each chapter will
be 'printed to file' burned to CD and reproduced on a
Xerox docutech, but I am year away from that. In the
meantime what is happening to the graphics? I use Word
97. Help please.
