When I am working on pictures in Word...if I scroll down lines show on my pic
or blank areas. Is this a Word problem or a graphics problem or what else
could it be?
Most likely it's an outdated display driver, an older display card, or
both.
First try turning down the hardware acceleration in Windows. Go to
Start menu > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced >
Troubleshoot. Move the slider a notch or two to the left and try your
pictures again. Repeat until the problem goes away or the slider goes
all the way to the left.
If that helps, then try visiting the web site of the manufacturer of
your video card to look for a later driver. If nothing is available,
you might think about a new card with more power.
