graphics not loading

I am using Word 2003 on my brand new, fast, 1 Gig RAM pc. The graphics will
not load correctly in my word document (simple clip art and lines). How can I
fix this?

I am having the same problem. In word 2003 if I open a document with
graphic in it, either the graphic does not load at all or onl
partially loads (if it is near the bottom of the page and has to b
scrolled to see the whole thing). I have tried resetting the vie
options but that does not work. I can get the object to appear if
change the view layout and then change it back, but that only last
until I move to the next page or scroll back. I tried linking th
graphic objects with the microsoft picture viewer as described in:
http://tinyurl.com/6zg4l
but that didn't solve the problem either. For some reason the proble
seems to be linked to the "refreshability" of the graphics in a wor
2003 document. We have also discovered that it seems to be a proble
with word 2003 and a brand new computer install. That is, we have tw
new computers in the office with "clean, virgin" installs of offic
2003 which have the problem. We have several other computers in th
office that are older (all Dell) and have been upgraded to office 2003
Word 2003 does not refresh graphics correctly on the new computers bu
does refresh on the upgraded computers! I would really like to kno
the answer to this one. It is really a pain.

Hi, mkp. Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start |
Control Panel | Display.
