Gray circle appearing next to the "From" field in messages

All of a sudden today a Gray circle appears on all messages I receive next to
the From (of the person sending to me).

In addition if I check my "Sent Items" it is next to my name on each of the
messages. It seems to be a link to an appointment, which in turn shows my
calendar.

I want to be certain my calendar appointments are not visible to who I am
sending to.

I check the following document, but no luck:
