Gray Figure copy and paste from Photoshop to Powerpoint2008 after Free-Transformation : Figures are distorted.

I have one problem like below:
1. I open the gray mode tiff file in photoshop CS2.
2. I select some rectangular region.
3. Command+T (free transformation)
4. Rotate or size adjustment.
5. Copy and paste into powerpoint 2008 in Mac.
6. The figures are distorted and blurred.

If I rotate the figure with rotate canvas + arbitrary, the figures are good. I think that free-transform in photoshop induced the distortion of figures in powerpoint2008.
I usually used this method in powerpoint2004, but I don't have any problem.
I just upgraded into ppt2004.

Please, give me the answer.

I can't suggest what the actual cause may be as I take the necessary steps
to avoid such issues in the first place :)

Seriously, Copy/paste is the absolute worst way to handle raster images...
IMHO it shouldn't even be an allowable option because it tempts too many
unsuspecting victims to use it.

Process the image in Photoshop to what you need it to be (including print
dimensions, resolution, color mode, etc.) then Save As in the appropriate
file format & use the Insert> Picture from File method to place it in your
document.

See if that doesn't give you better results.
