Greek Accent error

M

Marios

Whilst typing in MS Word 2007 in Greek i cannot type and insert an accent. In
all other programs of Office 2007 and other I do not have such a problem.

In greek, once you press the questionmark button followed by the letter, it
insert an accent on top.

example: greek letter " α "
with an accent " ά "

I have tried to uninstall all of Office 2007 and install Word Only with no
success. I am not sure if a plugin of Word creates this error. In one
occassion, in the safemode I was able to type in greek fine.

When typing in Word with a Greek keyboard configuration, the accent key is
on the row above the questionmark at the position a UK keyboard would
display a semi-colon, i.e. immediately to the right of the l (?) key?

ΚαλιμέÏα Marios

I should have posted in Unicode format to keep the Greek characters :(

When typing in Word with a Greek keyboard configuration, the accent
key is on the row above the question mark at the position a UK
keyboard would display a semi-colon, i.e. immediately to the right of
the l (λ) key?

ΚαλημέÏα και σε εσένα. After a lot of trial and error I have managed to
locate the error in a Program called PDF Complete which was installed on my
Computer. Its a one month old HP Desktop. After I uninstalled it I now have
no problem typing in word. Thanks for your help.

Marios.

You can probably get away with just removing the add-in and print to the PDF
driver should you wish to retain PDF conversion ability (or install the free
PrimoPDF instead)
