Greek Letters (symbol font) don't work in Visio 2003

In Visio 2003, when the font "symbol" is selected, i excpect to see greek
letters. Instead I get roman letters. This does not occur in other apps
(word or excel). How do I fix this?

Out of curiosity I tried it on my visio2003 and symbol font works as expected
on screen for initial text, change font on existing text, and for
insert/symbol...using symbol font yields greek letters.

Maybe try restart visio or reboot your machine? since font seems OK
elsewhere. Try other fonts to see if only symbol is the culprit....although I
doubt its a bad font.
