Gridlines Hidden by Shading

Hi,

I have selected gridlines to be displayed when printing via File, Page
Setup, Sheet.

Those gridlines disappear on the screen and in print if I have cells shaded.

Without "overriding" this by using of Borders, does anyone know to to
prevent this and show the gridlines on shaded cells on the screen and print?

You'll have to use borders.
