Gridlines in Keynote

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I've created a pie chart in Excel and want to cut and paste it into Keynote. When I do that, fine grid lines show up in the image in Keynote. They do not appear if I save the image as a PNG and then import into Keynote.

I appreciate any responses.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

Do a little experiment. If you paste into other applications and the
paste looks OK, then you can narrow down the problem to the way Keynote
is getting the picture from the clipboard.

Saving as PNG is a good work-around, as you discovered.

Thanks for the reply. The gridlines appear when I resize the image within Keynote. I'm sticking with PNGs, which don't have this problem, and trying to use Keynote charts whenever possible.
