Gridlines won't print

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Although the gridlines are present on the screen, and all the appropriate "print grid" boxes are checked, I still can't get the lines to print.

That may be part of Leopard's futzing with Office's printing capabilities
caused by the 10.5.2 update. First, make sure your print driver is
up-to-date. Try using a different print quality setting. If that doesn't
work there will hopefully be a fix coming down the pike before long.

I tried your suggestions and still nothing. Has anyone else solved this problem???

Have you tried changing the color of the gridlines at
Excel/Preferences/View? Different colors will affect the way that the
gridlines appear on prints.

I can get the gridlines to print, but I wish I could get them to print in
the same way they did in Office 2004. They used to be solid lines in the
print, now they're sort of dashed lines, but they're not consistent.
