Grids & Snap to Grid

HI:

I want to use snap to grid, but I can't make the 'grid.'

Can anyone help?

I have to confess to have never understood this feature :-( :-(
And there is nothing to be found in the Help of my ON (which speaks
German) :-( :-(

Could anyody being more knowledgeable on this topic pls jump in??

FWIW, online helps only reference to "Snap To Grid":

To help you line up items on your pages (for example, note containers or
pictures), OneNote automatically snaps the items to an invisible grid as you
move and reposition them. To temporarily disable the grid, hold down ALT
while you move an item on the current page. To permanently turn the page
grid option on or off, click the Snap To Grid command on the Edit menu.

Thanks a lot!
Now I understand it (as it seems, again). I just had missed that the
"Snap to Grid" item is a *toggle* thing.

Strange enough, searching in the German Help is vain :-(
