Groove 2007 and files that start with a . (Eclipse project files)

I attempted to share a Java Eclipse project folder. The folder by spec
includes a .project and a .classpath file. Groove will not share these files
complaining of an invalid path.
This is really frustrating does anyone know anything related to this?
