GrooveMonitor is a background task which helps with various parts of the
Groove Folder Sharing synchronization (GFS). In Groove v3.1 this was part
of the shell extensions, but various things including Vista-related work
meant it needed to become a separate process.
If you kill it, your GFS workspaces may not synchronize properly
(particularly around unread-marks), and you might experience some nagging
discomfort.
