Groove 2007 Roles and Permissions

Is there any way to create new roles and allow a Groove workspace member to
have more than one role?

I thought that I would be able to create a folder in the Files tool and
assign only certain members to that folder.

Or if I could at least assign certain members to a Tool then I could have
another Files tool only for certain members.

Only having 3 roles is very limiting.

Right now it looks like I just have to create an entirely new space to only
share certain files among part of my team.

Any ideas??

the three roles are quite permanent..

some sort of role/membership providers (like in ASP.NET2) would be nice!
(not sure if that'll make it to the feature list for the next release of
Groove)

try creating multiple identities and then invite these identities to
workspaces - you can then create diff roles for each in whichever workspace
they are invited

i know SB does this for the same acnt on multiple computers and i have
started the same practice - identities are a little developed and used aspect
of groove

seperate workspace menus would be great to start with
