Groove 2010 startup error

Good start to my use of 'Sharepoint Workspace'! When I first try to open it,
I get the error:

Groove Storage Security Error: The authentication of the database, does not
verify.
HRESULT: 0x00004005
Process: GROOVE.EXE (ID: 3496 (0x00000da8))

I did previously use Groove on this computer, but there were no users left
when I uninstalled Office 2007 before installing the 2010 Beta.

I hardly expect support for the 2010 Beta, but does anybody have any idea
why I might have got this error even with Groove 2007?

when you post this issue to that site, please include when the error happens
(start up, log in, or when accessing a space), system specs (hardware, OS
with SP, etc.), and what you have done thus far to correct the issue
(uninstall reinstall, run a repair, etc.)
