Groove 3.1 to Groove 2007 upgrade?

Is it possible to upgrade a Groove 3.1 installation to Groove 2007?
I am running Groove 3.1 and Microsoft Office 2007 Pro Plus. My business just
got the upgrade to Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise. When I attempt to
install the suite, I am told I need to uninstall Groove 3.1 before I can
proceed.

I have found numerous references to upgrade-ability but the installation
definitely appears to be behaving contrary to this boast.

First of all you need to use the groove client migrator that can be found
on.

There is also an manual how to get this done quickly.
The only thing that you may not like is that the data will be stored in your
LOCAL profile. if you use vista there is a way around this
You can find the solution that a friend of mine and I found within Vista. on
