Groove crashes when opened

I've installed Groove as part of Office Enterprise on my home desktop, but it
crashes out with the message
'Microsoft Office Groove Has Stopped Working'
when I try to start the program. All I see is the groove welcome logo
briefly, but the main window never appears. Windows then 'checks for a
solution' but doesn't report back any ideas.

System:
Windows Vista Home Premium x64
Athlon 64 X2 4600+

Can anyone offer any help?

Did you reboot your PC after install?

Hi - thanks for the reply.

Yes, I rebooted the computer after the install. I've since tried a repair
install, but Groove fails to load in exactly the same way as it did before.
So problem not solved yet!

I am having the same challenge here. I have been using groove with
office 2007 on vista 64bit since August. Just this week, groove
stopped opening for me with the same error.

Same with me. I tried all of that. I was eager to try this system but I can't
even get it started!
