Groove Monitor?

Hi Folks,

After installing my Office 2007 Ultimate edition, and the secondary disc
which gives me SQL 2005 express, the BCM and Accounting Express I've noticed
a process that I was hoping users could explain.

I believe it is called GrooveMonitor, and is running in the background.
Granted it does not consume alot of memory resources, but what is it? Can it
be disabled from not checking? I installed the product through the main
install but if I am not going to use it why do I need its monitor to continue
to execute?

I'd just like to close it and have it run its monitor only if I am presently
using Groove. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Dear iNexxFear,

GrooveMonitor is used for checking the networking communication between you
and other machines. If you think this process should not be useful, you can
also close it normally.

When you say close it normally what do you mean? Open the table on CTRL+ALT+DEL and close it? Isn't there any other way so it will not open each time i start my windows?
