Groove Virtual Office 3.1 High CPU

Hi,

I have uninstall and reinstalled several times, even when i do not have any
workspaces in my groove it is taking up on average 98% of my CPU.
i select groove into offline mode and it is still taking up 98% of my CPU.

after unistalling groove i notice that SVCHOST.EXE takes up 98% but this did
not happen before groove was installed. when i reinstall groove it is at 98%
and not SVCHOST.EXE

I have run the hot fix from microsoft on high CPU usage for SVCHOST.EXE but
its the same.

I have run virus scans, antispyware scans and nothing.

This error did not happen before groove was installed.

someone please help me this is driving me crazy,

Thank you for your reply.

According to your description, I think this issue may be caused when the
Groove was sync or downloading your workspace data from other members. Please
understand that when we remove and reinstall the Groove, then if we try to
run the Groove with the original account, then Groove may automatically check
your account's workspace information and then try to download or sync the
data from others. During the time, it may occupy much cpu resources on the
machine. So based on this situation, I think we can wait a moment and then
see the results.

If the problem still persists, then please let us run a grooveclean tool.

1. Right-click on the Groove icon in the system tray, and choose Exit Groove.
2. Click the Windows Start button and choose Run.
3. Browse to C:\Program Files\Groove Networks\Groove\Bin and choose
GrooveClean.exe
4. In the Run box, the command line, should type:
C:\Program Files\Groove Networks\Groove\Bin\GrooveClean.exe
5. Click OK.
6. Please let us restart the computer normally.
