I'm not clear from your description how you would be accessing the Groove workspace except as an offline mode to be synched later,
when reconnected. You may want to use the link below to also post this to the MS Office Groove discussion group and include the
versions of Office an Groove you're using.

Assume I am on a plane editing a PowerPoint Presentation posted on a Groove
workspace. Is that Presentation locked from being updated by another Groove
space contributor?
