Group contacts in BCM 2007 for mail merge

Im new to BCM 2007. I need to do mail shots (in Word) to different groups of
customers ie painters, electricians, accountants etc. How do i mail merge to
just one of these groups? Do i allocate a contact/company to a group? or is
this where categorizes are used? (can i do this on mass) Or do i need to add
an extra field in the contact data? Ive looked at the mail merge process but
at the moment can only see that i have to scroll down over 1000 contacts
ticking or unticking those required, there MUST be an easier way.

Look up information in Help and this discussion group on Search Folders. You
can define criteria for creating a dynamic group that will do exactly what
you want.
