The URL worked fine, thanks for the info.

I am a Server 2003 user. Will the information provided
work for a Server 2003 installation? I don't want to mess
up my Cube, I don't understand it very well as it is.
Thanks again for all the help.

I can group by Month, Quarter, etc... what I have
setup in my enterprise outline codes..but how do I group byit gives me 31 days.. I want to group it into the 4 weeks
and have the time (hours) fall into those buckets..

Thank you!

Just as a heads-up:

The process populating the MSP_CUBE_TIME_BY_DAY table creates a week entry
in the field TIME_WEEK_OF_YEAR

This entry is unfortunately hard-coded to have Sunday as the first day of
the week and ignores calendar issues like week1 being the first week of the
year having more than 4 days (as is the case here in Sweden, for instance)

Incidentally - the process DOES get the TIME_DAY text (the name of the
weekday) correct...

Hans - Are you using Project Server 2003? I wanted to
validate the procedure Dale Howard provided was for
Project Server 2003?
We are just now configuring and testing Project Server
2003. We built a Cube during the Server installation, and
Portfolio Analyzer appears to work. We are just now
experimenting with Portfolio Anayzer and do not understand
much about the "Cube". What process/procedure were you
referring to in your note?

Dale Howard - We have built the cube. Based on the
procedure you provided do we need to perform
the "Extending the Cube by Adding a New Pay Period
Dimension" (from the MS Extending OLAP Cube Services
publication) before we perform your suggested procedure?

Thanks
