Group Data command

I seem to have lost the group/ungroup command from the Data dropdown
menu in Excel v.X for Mac. When I select the "Group & Outline"
sub-menu, the only commands are: "show/hide detail", "auto/clear
outline" and "settings".

Am I going mad? Isn't this where the group/ungroup command should be
located?

Please help.

Yes, the Group/Ungroup command should be there.

Choose Tools/Customize, and on the Toolbars tab, select the Worksheet
Menu Bar item (don't just check the checkbox, make sure the name is
highlighted), then click on the Reset button. Your commands will be back.
