Group taskbar messages under Outlook not Word

G

Hi,
Is it possible to “configure†either the taskbar or Outlook, so that when
applications are grouped on the taskbar it is possible to differentiate
between outlook messages being edited using “word†as the editor and “realâ€
edits using word?

Thanks

This is a problem we haven't seen in a very log time. Version of Outlook?
Do you have all of the updates installed for your version?

I have the some problem for a few days - before was 'correct' - i.e. new
messages windows grouped with other Outlook windows. It could be bound with
the last update (i am not sure when it happend, but before this update was
ok). My Outlook version is 2003 (Office SBE). Windows XP Pro. All updates are
up to date. I have additionaly OneNote2007 with its engines (and also OneNote
2003). When I turn off 'word as editor' - new messages group as they shoud -
with other Outlook windows, otherwise (word as editor checked) they group
with other Word windows.

I am also experiencing this issue with a number of computers here at my
company... just popped up recently. I've heard that there is a hotfix for
this... can someone point me in the right direction? I've been browsing the
Internet and forums for a solid 2.5 hours now with no solution and users are
getting a little annoyed...

What version of Outlook?

I'm not aware of a current hotfix, any older hotfixes would have been rolled
into a later update.

Ah... I tried that and did the "reinstall and repair" option for office...

that didn't work.

Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2003. Not sure why this is
still happening but it's driving me crazy (moreso the CFO of our company...
hence why I still am on this issue).

If anyone else knows how they solved this, please let me know! Thank you.
