Outlook 2003 SP1 on Windows XP SP2, connected to Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 on
Windows NT 4.0 SP6, with cached Exchange mode turned on.
User reported Inbox showed two new items (bold 2), but that she could not
find any new items in the folder. Items were sorted and grouped by From,
with all groups expanded. All except for the group that contained the two
new items, it turned out.
But what causes this, and what is the workaround?
I remember reading something about this very phenomenon on the groups or in
the kb or somewhere, but I can't find the article and I don't remember what
it said.
Any ideas?
