Is there a way to create a group when you go to open projects on the server?
Say if I wanted to break apart departments.

IT Work
Web Development

Etc..

Thanks

In Project Server 2003, the items that appear on the Group By drop-down list
at the top of the Open from Microsoft Office Project Server dialog represent
the custom enterprise Project outline codes created by your Project Server
administrator in the Enterprise Global file. Hope this helps.

Ok that worked and made sense. Now tow more questions have came up.

1. How do I apply a Server project to a group (only the specified group)?
2. Can users on the Web interface be setup or sort by these groups?

Thanks a million

1. You need to create a custom Category for the new Group, select the
specific project in question for that Category, and then include the new
Category in your new Group. This gives the Group permission to access the
project. You must also set the Permissions for this Category within the
Group.

2. I'm not sure what you mean by this question. Please say more.
