I am trying to make a guestbook using FP2003. This is what I do. Pls
correct me if I am missing any step:
1)Open FP> new> more page templates> guest book
2)Right click on the form and go to form properties--- The file name is
guestlog.htm and I also give my email address to recieve the users
comments.
3) I save the page as guestbook.htm
4)Put the guestbook.htm on the web through the server.
the problem lies here:
when i access the guestbook.htm through the web, and type in my test
comment and hit the submit button ....then it shows a "page not found
error" and in the address bar it reads
"http://www.public.asu.edu/~tchandra/--WEBBOT-SELF--" ....where
http://www.public.asu.edu/~tchandra/ is the root directory where my
guestbook.htm is.
What is the problem? Why is this error being generated. Do I need to
create the guestlog.htm file or is it generated on its own?
Pls help. i am stuck.
