Halting a formula

Hi everybody... can someone please tell me how to halt a formula in excel (by putting the $ in the cell)... I'm new with my mac and in the excel for windows you should just edit and type f4 in order to get the formula halted but I don't know how to do it with excel for mac... can someone here help me?

You can find keyboard shortcuts in Help (search for Excel Keyboard
Shortcuts).

The absolute/relative reference toggle is CMD-t
