"Handler" error message

When I try to open a .grv file (attached to an invite), I receive an error:

"Handler for specific Workspace type is not installed. If you accept
invitation, handler will have to be installed before Workspace can be opened."

Then I immediately receive:

"You must update Groove before accepting this invitation because the
workspace requires features only available in a more recent Groove version..."

I am using v3.1a (build 3.1a.2374)

Sounds to me like a Groove 2007 user is sending you an invite to a
Groove 2007 space.
