Handout Conundrum

How do I extract only CERTAIN slides and create a sendable
file, preferably using Word so that I can add
embellishments? The whole presentation seems to be
transferred.

I can easily PRINT only those slides I want as a handout
using just PPT, but can't seem to retrieve this file to
send. Saving to file results in an extension (.prn) which
my computer doesn't know what to do with.

Thanks for any assistance. The need, of course, is time
critical!

Use File/Send to/Word and choose your weapon.

Then in Word, delete the slides you don't need. You might want to create a PDF from your Word file -- that may help with the file size, as Send to Word can create extremely large Word documents.

I find that selecting Paste Llink in the Send to Word dialog and then using Edit/Links/Break Links in Word helps keep the file size down somewhat.
