I am attempting to set-up a tablet PC in my office. I want to use th
Write Anywhere feature so that I can write anywhere on the screen an
have it recognized as text and put into a document in Microsoft Wor
XP. However, this does not want to work properly since there is n
Write Anywhere button on my language bar, nor is there a handwritin
option. Can anyone help me

Hi Nebulus,

You may want to also post this in the Windows Tablet PC
newsgroup, but do you have this add-in for Office XP installed?

Sorry for taking a long time to reply, been busy here

Anyway, yes, the Office pack for Tablet PCs is installed on the table
I'm using. I've tried going to Add/Remove programs and selectin
"Change" under office XP, then going to alternate input an
installing the handwriting option, but this hasn't worked for me n
matter how many times I try it.

The main problem is the fact that "Handwriting" and "Write Anywhere
do not appear on the language bar even though they should be. I hav
checked the sttings and both are installed, but I cannot access th
properties of either of them

Edit
Also, if anyone knows if there is a way to automatically convert in
to text in Word or Windows Journal, I'd love to know how. The clien
this tablet is going to wants hers to be set up this way

Hi Nebulus,

There were some issues with this on Tablet PCs that,
in addition to those covered here for the Office XP Tablet pack
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;329774&FR=1
require, ifI recall correctly, a change on the Tablet PC
Windows side. You may want to also post in the
Tablet PC group on this (link below)
