Handwriting recognition in TIFF

I scanned files in TIFF format, i run OCR and such file is searchable now,
however i can't do the same with handwritings . Is there a way to do that?

The handwriting would need to be very uniform for the OCR to recognize
it. The Office OCR is a usable OCR engine but not a "great" one.
