Hanged Resource that cant be edited or deleted

In my Enterprise Resource Pool I have user’s account as a resource,
everything was working fine. Until all of a sudden now I am required to take
down user names and place generic Resource name “Analytical Chemist†or
“Research Manager†, I cant edit the resource or the user account of the
people.

The weird thing is not all the users are affected, some I am able to use PWA
and edit the user account to not appear as a resource and most of them I cant
edit or delete them

And the Error I get when I choose to do either both is :

Jon,

I've not come across this problem and am not sure of it's cause.

Do you have a backup of the Ent. Resource Pool? If so, have you tried
restoring it ?
