Hanging Indent

Can some one help me i am confused on how to do a hanging indent. i have used the help feature but i am still clueless. any help would be appreciated. thank You Heather B

Use the menu path - Format > Paragraph > Indents and Spacing > Indentation >
Special > Hanging Indent. Change the adjacent default indentation figure if
required.

In addition to Grahams advice, check out the margins, tabs, and indenting
buttons on the ruler (assuming you're in "Print Layout" view), then make
your changes and see how it changed these items on the ruler. You can also
simply drag that part to where you want to insert a First Line Indent,
Hanging Indent, or a Full Indent by dragging to the right where you want
them. Of course to get "precise" settings, use the dialog box Graham
mentioned.
