Why do I lose hanging indents for my outline-numbered custom styles in Word?
S Shauna Kelly Sep 23, 2004 #2 Hi Mark You're losing the hanging indents because, for bulleted and numbered paragraphs, Word ignores left indents and hanging indents that you set through the paragraph properties. You have to set the through the numbering properties as explained at: How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in your Microsoft Word document http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html Hope this helps.
