I wanted to wish everyone here a safe and enjoyable holiday. I would
personalize this greeting to names but I might forget one...or two...or
three. So, to all the regulars (you know who you are), it's been another
great year and I hope you have an enjoyable weekend. To all the others,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I extend a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to Mike's son as well as a thanks for
serving our country. I was in desert storm the first time around, so I know
the feeling of missing family....I am glad Mike got to see his son for the
holidays.

Brian,

Thanks you so deeply. It is touching and greatly appreciated. Let me add
that I salute all the soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen - and their
families. We did not expect to see Shaun until January, he "punked" us
big time. It has been a wonderful time so far, thought it will end soon.

To you and your family, and all the ones who frequent this NG, Merry
Christmas also. May 2005 be your best year yet.

Since Brian has wished all of the regulars a Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year, I'd like to extend my good wishes to all of the irregulars (you know
who you are as well).

Have a peaceful, quiet holiday filled with love.

Thanks Brian, and a happy Christmas to you and yours too.

And to all those reading this message, have a great holiday season (4-day
weekend over here - not sure about those in the US). Stay safe, don't get
too drunk, and enjoy the moment :)

And if anyone from Toshiba's reading this: Thanks, for ruining the last week
of Advent for me. Last time you get any of my money.

Ed,

Large parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana got socked with a "25-year"
winter storm, and lots of places closed early Wednesday and won't
re-open until Monday. Some pretty nasty stuff for this neck of the woods
- we have to go back to 1978 to find similar weather. I wish I had an
open fire to roast chestnuts on! But my sister, mom, brother and two
nieces, along with a few thousand other families were without
electricity (and thus, heat) for 38 hours in weather that measured in
minus degrees of temperature.

But it's back on now, and it will be a very Merry Christmas!
