Has anyone used publisher for a wedding party newsletter?

Most likely.. if you are looking for a template, Publisher has many
incumbents that could be changed to reflect the type of content that you
require..

I even did a divorce party newsletter once...but don't ask me about
templates... I never use them.

They dint have puters when I wed...it was a task carving the invites into
stone...AH...and the postage!
