have 2007 office small business on disk, netbook has no disk drive

I have 2007 office small business on disk, I want to put it on my netbook.
Problem is netbook has no disk drive. Staples wants to keep netbook for a few
days to download it using their external drive. I cannot give up the netbook
for a few days. Can I download TRIAL VERSION of office small business 2007
from the microsoft webesite and then use my product key from the disks to
make it the complete version? I also have the trial version of office student
on the netbook now. Would I need to uninstall it?

The same reply as given on here many times.

1. copy the dvd to a thumb drive or a USB hard drive on another computer and
use it to install.
2. put the notebook on a network with the dvd in a shared dvd drive on the
network and install.
3. purchase a external dvd drive so you can install it.

Otherwise the download will NOT work for your retail purchase.

And uninstall any trial together with Activation Assistant, then reboot
prior to installing any paid for version
