Have a logo in black can't change to color

Have a logo desinged in black been posting in office applications. Would like
to chane the entire logo to color. Can't figure out how to do this. Can put a
color bordewr around it but can't seem to select everything in the object box
to cahnge colors. Assistance please

What program are you using? What format is the image jpg,gif,png,or wmf?
