Have a manual that needs an index. Where can I read up info on index?

Anyone knows where I could get info on setting up an index (not table of

For a good introduction, see John McGhie's article at
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/CreateIndex.htm. Also study
the Word help file's topics on the XE and INDEX fields and their
switches.
