Preachers wife

I need to be able to change the date on an Adobe graphic that I got off of a
disc. I have already sent it to word, but I can't edit the text, which I will
have to do every week since it is a program for church. How do I put it all
together. Thisis the facing page of an 8 1/2 by 11 folded width wise. Need
help asap. Word 2002 and Adobe 6.

You're approaching this the wrong way round. An Acrobat file isn't meant to
be editable, and there's not much you can do with it in Word.

If you have the full version of Acrobat you make minor text changes (such as
a date) using the text touch-up tool -- but this is no help for any
significant editing. If what you currently have is a graphic, presumably
it's actually a scan of the Acrobat file. If this is only a part of your
newsletter, and the date is all you need to change, you might get away with
superimposing a textbox containing the date you want. Likely to be ugly,
however.

The usual approach is to create and edit your document in Word, then create
a weekly Acrobat file from that. You need the full version of Acrobat (or
one of the clone equivalents) to do this. There's also a free(?) service on
Adobe's website, but I don't know what's involved.
