have installed jet, how to let access know it is installed?

I have just purchased Office 2003 and installed it. Then, I got online and
installed Access for client management. It said I had to install Jet 4.0,
which I got online and did install. I rebooted the computer and it still
doesn't recognize that jet 4.0 has been installed. What do I do now?

Go to Windows Update, it will install the latest version of Jet (SP8). You
may also need an MDAC update (just guessing).
