Have sound files and slide transitions go at the same time. HELP!!

is it possible for you to play a sound file on a presentation, and
simultaneously have the presentation advance the slide after so and so
seconds?? because powerpoint 2003 wont let me

Yes it is
In the transition pane, for Play automatically after, you can choose the
time for each slide and you can add a sound file
