Have Visio 2003 NOT load certain add-ons?

A

asperamanca

Today, when I started Visio 2003, it came with several error messages
along the lines "add-on so-and-so could not be activated, because it
is not digitally signed"
What followed was the path to an executable, which certainly IS NO
Visio add-on, and which isn't in any path Visio should even look in.

The error followed several times, which other such executables.

The list of add-ons in the "Extras" menu certainly included those
executables, but there does not seem to be any way to remove them.
The data paths in the options dialog has no Add-on path (empty).

How can I tell Visio NOT to look for add-ons in some random path?

Thanks

Check the Start up path as well. Also check the paths using the
registry editor.

menu Tools -> Add ons will show some of the loaded addons
