Having a macro result appear only in the Project summary "0" line

We have a macro running in project server to report a result and wish to have
the result appear only in the Project Summary "0" line. We are using the
field Enterprise Project Text 1 and whenever the macro runs it displays the
result in each and every task line rather than only the 0 line. Is there a
way to have the result appear only in the 0 line?

You should post this question to the microsoft.public.project.developer
group. Hope this helps.

The short answer is no

If you add a project custom field to a view in project professional it
annoyingly populates every line with the project level value

My understanding is that Project custom fields were never intended for use
in the Project Professional views

If you used a custom task field you could hide task level entries by using
graphical indicators and only enabling the project summary task to be
displayed

Probably of no help whatsoever ... but a thought
